Brittany de Kouchkovsky serves as Director of University Relations at OUP, a venture fund investing in science-backed startups. She builds strategic partnerships with academic institutions and founders translating innovation into impactful companies. She also supports technology sourcing and investment strategy across the portfolio.
Previously, Brittany was Associate Director at Orange Grove Bio, where she spent five years sourcing new ventures and translating academic science into IND-ready companies. She was a founding team member and Operations Manager of Preservation Bio. Earlier in her career, she held R&D roles at Prognosys Biosciences, The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, and BP Biofuels.
A UC San Diego alum and longtime member of the region’s life sciences community, Brittany is committed to strengthening the San Diego innovation ecosystem and supporting academic entrepreneurs. She earned a PhD in Immunobiology from Yale University and a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
